Leah Kaplan Robins

Founder & Principal

Leah (pronounced Lee-ah - she/her) is a writer and marketing consultant with more than two decades of leadership in cause-based messaging.

Leah launched Words Make Change in early 2024 after more than a decade leading the content strategy for American Jewish World Service (AJWS). A graduate of Harvard University, she previously held communications roles at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, the Covenant Foundation, and Hebrew Union College.

Leah’s clients include top agencies (M+R, Greater Good Strategy), foundations (Arcus, Taube), nonprofits (Institute for Jewish Spirituality, Hadar, Adamah, Jewish Funders Network), and startups.

She finds it especially meaningful to help nascent organizations find their voice and use best practices to take their revenue and reputation to the next level.

When Leah’s not on the job, you can find her digging in her garden, meditating, thrift shopping, or walking on a trail with Marley (pup), Jonathan (spouse), and their kids. Otherwise, chances are, her nose is in a book.
